To save our country

Congratulations to the Republicans for the great win November 4. But, before you slap yourselves on the back for a “great election,” you need to get a few things understood.

I believe you did not win this election because we love Republicans; you won this election because you were the “other guys” on the ticket. You were elected because we want you to stop Barack Obama and his reckless administration. We are tired of Obama using executive orders and ignoring laws he doesn’t like; we are tired of bureaucrats targeting people Obama doesn’t like. We are tired of Obama expanding the national debt by $7+ trillion, and we are tired of Obamacare. We are tired of the untruths that have been told by this administration.

We do not want you to compromise with Obama and the Democrat minority. We do not want you to “reach across the aisle” and come to “consensus.” If we did, we would have voted for Democrats.

Instead, we want you to return to conservative principles of smaller and less-intrusive government. We want a government that will be honest with us, that will respect and listen to us.

Here are some of the things we want you to accomplish:

1. Lower the tax rates for all Americans, especially the middle class and small business.

2. Stop and reverse the burdensome regulations that have strangled our economy. 3. Approve the Keystone pipeline. 4. Seal the borders—no amnesty until the borders are totally secured. 5. Dismantle Obamacare. Seize this moment to save our country. JOANNE FROEMMING
