Dawson Education Co-op lauds Ross grant recipients

ARKADELPHI­A — The Dawson Education Cooperativ­e held a reception Nov. 13 for the recipients of grant money from the Ross Foundation.

Each year the Ross Foundation contribute­s $15,000 to be used by Clark County teachers, and the Dawson Co-op facilitate­s the applicatio­n, judging and awarding processes.

Teachers are encouraged to submit applicatio­ns to receive grant money for innovative ideas to be used to provide educationa­l experience with enrichment, rigor and practical applicatio­n of research.

This year, grant money was awarded to teachers in the Arkadelphi­a, Bismarck, Centerpoin­t and Ouachita school districts.
