CHARLES H. ARMSTRONG SR., “Mr. Armstrong,” entered into eternal rest surrounded by family on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014. Mr. Armstrong, a longtime resident of College Station, was known for his caring and sharing for all those he met. He was an avid farmer known for his tender greens, sweet watermelon and huge sweet potatoes. He was a longtime member of Antioch Full Gospel Baptist Church. Charles Armstrong Sr. is a great soldier, who stayed his course and finished his race. We will always love him.

He leaves to celebrate his homegoing: children Charles (Evelyn) Armstrong Jr., Johnny (Kimberly) Armstrong, Sandra (Walter) Dickerson, Venetta A. ––––– ––––– LELAND “JASON” BROWN, 42, Sherwood, born April 10, 1972, passed away Dec. 2, 2014, in an ATV accident. He was a member of First Pentecosta­l Church of North Little Rock. Jason had a passion for animals and found joy in fishing and being outdoors.

Jason is preceded in death by his biological father, Leland William Brown, Jr.; grandparen­ts, Lois Clark, Kathleen Waldorf, Virgil Waldorf, and Mary and Brad Bradshaw; and stepbrothe­r, Keith Bradshaw. Jason is survived by his greatest accomplish­ment, his daughter, Maygen Nicole Brown; mother and stepfather, Donna and Joe Bradshaw; father and stepmother, Ray and Carolyn Waldorf; brothers Dustin Brown, Eric Waldorf (spouse Crystal) and Stacy Brown; sister, Amanda Firth (spouse Andy); stepbrothe­r, Matt Bradshaw; stepsister­s Cheryl King, Jodi Bradshaw, Christy Howell (spouse Luke) and Cindy Pharris; and many other family members and friends.

––––– KRISTY SUE CARROLL, 59, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014. She was born in Rockford, Ill., on Nov. 20, 1955, to Tom and Glenna Honeycutt. She was raised in Doniphan, Mo., and made her home in Little Rock.

Kristy worked at Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 34 years and retired this past April. She also worked for Kroger on Chenal Parkway for over 15 years. She considered those that she worked with her family and made life-long friends at both places.

Kristy fought Acute Myeloid Leukemia for the past eight years. During this time, she made so many friends during her treatments at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock and MD Anderson in Houston. Her family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff that cared for her all these years.

Those left to cherish her memories are three daughters, Jill Ross and husband, Shane, of Paron, Lindsey Carroll and fiance Thomas McDonald of Little Rock, and Whitney Freeman and husband, Kendric, of Little Rock. She also leaves behind the highlight of her life, her five grandchild­ren, Lily and Dean Ross, Bailey and Emma McDonald, and Kenlee Freeman. She is also survived by two sisters, Robin Honeycutt-Borsch of Datto, Ark., and Rita Bradford of Sullivan, Mo., and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

––––– ––––– LOLA FAE RAMER, 86, of Little Rock, left her loving family and friends to dwell with the Lord on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014. She was born in Stella, Neb., on June 20, 1928, to Osmand Earl Gilbert and Sarah Belle (West) Gilbert.

Lola was preceded in death by both of her parents; her loving husband of 65 years, Ora M. Ramer and her siblings, Carrie Bradley; Mildred Euler; Erma Banks and Eleanor Staton. She is survived by her son, Gary Ray Ramer (Polly); daughter, Mary Ramer Spann; grandchild­ren Doug Ramer (Shannon), Amy Ramer, Amanda Mann (Michael), Joshua Spann, Matthew Spann (Cassie); great-grandchild­ren Ashleigh Mann, Landon Ramer, Connor Mann; and many cherished nieces, nephews and their families.

The family wishes to express their deepest appreciati­on and thanks to the staff of Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilita­tion Center and Arkansas Hospice for their loving care and support.

––––– ––––– BRENDA J. STUCKEY, daughter of the late Herron and Velma Gaylord, was born on May 15, 1944, in Stoddard County, Mo., and departed this life on Dec. 1, 2014, at the Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Ark., at the age of 70.

Mrs. Stuckey was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Little Rock, Ark., and a resident of Little Rock, Ark. She was a life-long educator, a high school teacher for 12 years in New Madrid, Mo., and for 27 years in Little Rock, Ark. On Aug. 23, 1983, she was united in marriage to Don Stuckey in Little Rock, Ark. Mr. Stuckey survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Emily Curtis of Ashburn, Va.; by one sister, Myra Riddle of Cherokee, Ala.; and by two brothers, Barry Gaylord of Cherokee, Ala., and Randy Gaylord of Essex, Mo.

Friends may call at the RaineyFune­ral Home in Dexter on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiatin­g. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
