Personalized experience makes local jewelry store shine

Owner Kelli Lancaster and the staff at KelZek Fine Jewelry and Gifts in Arkadelphia focus on getting to know their customers and developing lasting relationships.

With this customer-focused, personalized approach, people who visit the store are treated to an individualized shopping experience.

“We really pride ourselves in basically being personal shoppers,” Lancaster said. “That means if you have a gift idea in mind, I’m going to try to find that item for you, not try to just sell you something I have — although you might like something we have in the store better after you take a look around.”

KelZek Fine Jewelry and Gifts has been in business since 2001 and, although the name might seem a little unusual, it is simply a combination of the first three letters of Lancaster’s first name and the first three letters of her son’s name, Zeke.

Located at Sixth and Main streets in Arkadelphia, the business is a full-service jewelry store, providing all types of fine jewelry, including engagement rings, as well as jewelry repair and custom design work.

In addition, KelZek Fine Jewelry and Gifts offers bridal registries and carries most of the major lines of dinnerware, such as Vietri, Juliska, Lenox and Fiesta.

“Give us a call, and we will wrap up a gift for any of our registered brides and make sure they receive a beautiful package with a personal note from you,” she said.

Keeping in line with a personalized approach, the staff also keeps “wish lists” on file for customers.

“When someone comes in trying to purchase a gift, we can pull their wish-list card and fulfill their wish,” Lancaster said. “Believe me, husbands love these cards because it makes their shopping so much easier, and the wife is made happy, too.”
