Pharmacy thrives on service

As a local Good Neighbor pharmacy, McCoy-Tygart Drug & Gift Shoppe in Sheridan offers quality products at affordable prices as well as the personalized service its customers expect, owner Phil Tygart said.

McCoy-Tygart Drug & Gift Shoppe has been serving the Grant County area since 1895, and offers Arthur Court serveware and decorative accessories, wedding services, which include a dishware registry; custom napkins and tuxedo rental; baby registries; and a large selection of Sheridan Yellowjacket and Arkansas Razorback items.

Customers can buy Dr. Comfort diabetic shoes through the pharmacy. All a customer needs to do is bring in a prescription, and the staff will take measurements for the shoes. In addition to wheelchairs and walkers, the business has a variety of items for any occasion, including Tyler candles, cologne, perfume and gift cards.

Service is a huge part of McCoy-Tygart Drug, too, Tygart said.

“As your neighbors, we live, work and play in the same community as you and your family,” he said. “We believe it is our responsibility to take care of our community and our neighbors, and it’s one we take very seriously.”
