Race, education forum scheduled

University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service students and alumni will host a community forum today on race and education in which panelists will discuss the past, present and future state of education in Little Rock.

Attendees at the 6 p.m. event at the Arkansas Arts Center, 501 E. Ninth St. in Little Rock, will have an opportunity to participate in facilitated round-table discussions, designed to formulate strategies on how to support the area’s youth and to explore aspects of institutional barriers to educational achievement.
