––––– ––––– BENTON — Allen Ray Dunlap, 59, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. He was born July 7, 1955 to the late Virginia Dunlap and Billy J. Dunlap.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Chris. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Dunlap; son, Jeff Dunlap; stepdaught­er, Toni Roach; stepson, Ken Hall; father, Billy; grandsons, Brandon and Jay Allen Dunlap; sisters, Donna Copeland; Vanetta Dunlap; brother, Larry Dunlap and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

––––– ––––– BENTON — Carita A. Taylor, of Benton, went to be with the Lord, Saturday March 14, 2015. Carita grew up in Lepanto, Ark., and graduated from Lepanto High School. Graduated from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Ark. After graduation, Carita went to work for Dr. Tom Logue, director of the Baptist Student Union. She later went to work for Bryant School district for 25 years. She was a member of Geyer Springs Baptist Church for 48 years and member of the church choir. Carita married Bob Taylor on January 25, 1963 and recently celebrated 52 years of marriage. They had one son, Byron L. Taylor. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmothe­r.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Mattie Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Bob Taylor; one son, Byron Taylor and wife Kelley; one grandson, Alexander “Lex” Taylor; two sisters, Sheila Babineau and husband Walter J., and Leta Rae Simons and Husband Jimmy W.; one brother, Tony Anderson and his wife Mary; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
