LR outlet mall picks Richards as manager
New England Development of Newton, Mass., pegged retail veteran Teresa Richards as general manager of Outlets of Little Rock, a new open-air shopping center at the intersection of Interstates 30 and 430.
The 325,000-squarefoot center is set to open Oct. 16; Richards came on board last month. She manages the team that markets and will operate and maintain the outlet mall. No stores have announced they’ll have a presence there, but Gap Factory, Banana Republic and OshKosh B’Gosh/ Carter’s are among several that have taken out permits to finish out space in the center.
Richards previously served as assistant general manager of Park Plaza in Little Rock and was marketing/specialty leasing manager for Central Mall in Fort Smith.
