Iggy Azalea recently canceled her fall tour, so she has time to plan for a big moment in her life: her wedding. Nick Young of the Los Angeles Lakers proposed to the rapper late Monday as they celebrated Young’s 30th birthday. A short video of Azalea saying yes as Young proposed on bended knee was posted on the blog site Karen Civil. The site confirmed its authenticity by email. Azalea’s representative also confirmed the engagement. Azalea posted a photo on Instagram of her hand graced with a diamond ring. Young wrote, “She said yes. It’s over man. I’m getting married!” when he posted a photo of the couple kissing. Azalea will be 25 on Sunday. She announced last week that she was canceling her U. S. tour for a second time.

Jack White is planning a return to his Detroit roots with a new Third Man Records store. White and Shinola, a business that makes watches and other goods in Detroit, announced Tuesday that they’ve partnered to buy the building housing Shinola. They said a Third Man store will open there by Nov. 27 in an area that’s now considered part of Detroit’s Midtown. White said in a statement that the area, still known to many as the Cass Corridor, has “always been the most inspiring area of Detroit for me as an artist and as a Detroiter.” The musician played in the Cass Corridor in the White Stripes’ early days. He said it “nurtured Detroit’s soul and inventiveness for decades.” White left Detroit for Nashville, Tenn., where Third Man has a store.

A statement on Enrique Iglesias’ website said his reconstructive hand surgery “lasted longer than expected” because he suffered a fracture that needed to be corrected. Iglesias had surgery in Los Angeles on Monday after slicing his fingers when grabbing a drone at a concert. “His recent surgery lasted longer than expected since the damage ended up being a bit worse than initially assessed. He suffered a fracture that needed to be corrected in addition to the reconstructive surgery,” said the statement, posted Tuesday. “He will be recovering during the next few weeks, but a full recovery is anticipated.” Iglesias sliced his fingers at a show in Tijuana, Mexico. He was treated at the venue and was advised to stop the show, but he performed for an additional 30 minutes. Video and photos posted online showed his bandaged hand and bloodied T- shirt.
