REDS 13, CUBS 6 Eugenio Suarez and Adam Duvall hit two- run home runs in a four- run sixth inning and visiting Cincinnati took advantage of two late Chicago errors. Duvall, who was called up from Class AAA Louisville earlier Monday, snapped a 5- 5 tie with his pinch- hit home run off Cubs reliever Justin Grimm ( 2- 4), who surrendered all four runs in one- third of an inning.
MARLINS 4, BRAVES 0 Martin Prado and Justin Bour each had an RBI double in the eighth inning and visiting Miami extended Shelby Miller’s winless streak to 19 starts with a victory over Atlanta. Miller ( 5- 12) gave up 6 hits and struck out 7 in 7 innings.
METS 3, PHILLIES 1 Bartolo Colon breezed through eight snappy innings and host New York got home runs from Curtis Granderson and Michael Conforto, extending its dominant run against Philadelphia. Colon ( 12- 11) struck out 9, walked 1 and yielded 4 harmless singles.
ROCKIES 5, DIAMONDBACKS 4 Ben Paulsen hit a two- out, two- run single and host Colorado rallied for four runs in the bottom of the ninth to beat Arizona. Charlie Blackmon had three hits and finished a home run short of the cycle for the Rockies, who snapped a three- game home losing streak.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
ASTROS 8, MARINERS 3 Dallas Keuchel ( Arkansas Razorbacks) allowed 1 run and struck out 8 in 7 innings to become the American League’s first 16- game winner and lead host Houston to a victory over Seattle. Rookie Carlos
Correa hit a two- run home run and Jed Lowrie and Hank Conger added home runs. Keuchel ( 166), who gave up six hits, improved to 12- 0 at home this season and has won 13 consecutive in Houston.
RED SOX 4, YANKEES 3 David Ortiz hit his 495th home run and Jackie Bradley Jr. had three hits and threw out a runner at the plate to lift host Boston Red Sox to a victory over New York. Mookie Betts hit a two- run home run for the Red Sox. It was their ninth victory in 13 games.
RAYS 6, ORIOLES 3 Chris Archer ( 12- 10) pitched six shutout innings, and visiting Tampa Bay hit three home runs in a victory over fading Baltimore. Asdrubal Cabrera and Evan Longoria connected off Wei- Yin Chen ( 8- 7), and Tim Beckham added a shot against Brad Brach. Logan Forsythe ( Arkansas Razorbacks) had three hits for the Rays, coming within a home run of a cycle.
INDIANS 4, BLUE JAYS 2 Jerry Sands singled home the go- ahead run in the seventh inning, Danny Salazar struck out 10 and visiting Cleveland won its sixth consecutive game, beating Toronto. Salazar ( 12- 7) allowed 2 runs and 6 hits in 7 innings. Toronto’s Edwin Encarnacion extended his hitting streak to 26 games with a leadoff single in the sixth.
