Little Rock’s historic West Ninth Street will take on a new, creative look when it’s the focus of Pop

Things will go bump in the night, and at least one of them is a headless horseman, as the Arkansas Arts Center’s Children’s Theatre stages The Legend
of Sleepy Hollow, adapted by Frederick Gaines from the Washington Irving story, 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday through Nov. 8 at the Arts Center in MacArthur Park, East Ninth and Commerce streets, Little Rock. The theater is recommending the show for third-graders and up. The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra adds visual thrills and spectacle to the first Acxiom Pops Live concert of the season: “Cirque Musica: Crescendo,” 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Pulaski Academy’s Connor Performing Arts Center, 12701 Hinson Road, Little Rock.
