JAN ELIZABETH HOLLOWELL COLLINS (pastor’s wife, missionary, nurse, teacher, mother, grandmothe­r, sister) born July 23, 1944 passed away peacefully to her heavenly home at Springhill Baptist Hospital on October 30, 2015. She had three sons, (Paul, John, Bryan) and 11 grandchild­ren. She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church (201 East “C” Street, North Little Rock, Ark.)

The funeral service will be at Madison Baptist Church (930 Steam Mill Ferry Road, Jackson, Tenn.) on Sunday, November 1. Viewing will be 12:30 to 2 p.m., service to follow with burial at Maple Springs Baptist Cemetery.

Memorials gifts (no flowers please) can be sent to her church (mission fund). A memorial service will be held later in Arkansas. Plans are incomplete but will be posted on Facebook.

–––––❖––––– LARRY G. INGRAM, age 69, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away October 29, 2015. He fought a courageous battle after being diagnosed with lung cancer and undergoing chemo and radiation. He was born October 22, 1946 to George and Joan Ingram. Larry was an electricia­n and a member of the IBEW Local 295 for 50 years. He retired from Children’s Hospital in 2012. Immediatel­y after his retirement he built the pond he always wanted. He always enjoyed being outdoors on his land. He was a member of Henderson United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer with Poodle Patch Rescue Inc. Larry was an avid animal lover who donated countless hours. He loved restoring cars, especially Corvettes. He was a strong, hardworkin­g, loyal man.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steve and his wife Connie; and son Tim Jarrell.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty; daughters: Tammy Brewster, Mandy Clayton and husband Craig; son, Mark Ingram and wife Teresa; and nine grandchild­ren.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Henry Mavis; three sisters; one brother; and grandson, Scot Worthingto­n. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Dailey and husband, Dale of Maumelle; sister, Dorothy Walker of Milwaukee; grandson, Brent Worthingto­n and wife, Sunny of Little Rock; granddaugh­ter-in-law, Lisa Worthingto­n; and six great-grandchild­ren.

–––––❖––––– BOBBY JEAN (STANE) MORGAN, age 75, of North Little Rock passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. Bobby, also known as Barbara, was born one of 11 siblings on January 29,1940, in Perry County, Arkansas, to Earnest and Cordia (Hudspeth) Stane. She grew up and went to school in Bigelow, Arkansas.

From an early age and throughout her blessed life, Barb loved music. She sang beautifull­y and could play almost any instrument by ear. She used her talent tuning pianos at Baldwin Piano Company in Conway, Arkansas, for years. She later worked at Target Distributi­on Center in Maumelle, Arkansas, for 11 years. She was of the Assemblies of God faith.

She married Harvey (Jack) Morgan on January 11, 1957, and together they had three children. As a young military family they traveled to bases in Japan, New Mexico, Florida, Texas, and Arkansas.

Bobby is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Jack; her son, Brian David; brothers, Harvey Stane, Raymond Stane, Harold Stane, Howard Stane, Sherman Dixon, and Thurman Dixon; and sisters, Ernestine Ollis and Maxine Hamblin.

She is survived by her son, Bobby (Allyson) Morgan; daughter, Sheryl (Curt) Brownhill; sister, Majorie Lindsey; brother, Carl (Pete) Dixon; grandchild­ren, Justin (Michelle) Langrell, Robert Morgan, Brett (Krystle) Morgan, Sarah (Pete) Esparza, Nathan (Kerry) Brownhill, and Seth Brownhill; great-grandchild­ren, Zoe Johnson, Adam Brownhill, Megan Brownhill, Noah Esparza, Elizabeth Esparza, Ethan Brownhill, Haleigh Valentine, and Abbi Valentine; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 2, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Terry Newman officiatin­g. Burial will be at Volman Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. –––––❖––––– PATRICIA L. NEWTON, 78, of Little Rock departed this life on October 28, 2015. Pat was born in Texas and raised and educated in Louisiana. She was a former elementary school teacher. She and her husband, Frank, moved to Arkansas in 1961 and enjoyed living in Conway and Fort Smith, as well as Little Rock.

She was active in Bible Study Fellowship for many years and always happiest when teaching God’s Word. Her special passion the last 20 years had been teaching young women to be the wives and mothers God has called them to be.

Pat was married to and survived by Frank, her sweetheart and best friend for 53 years, and three sons, Brian (Becky), Todd (Jill), and Josh (Rachael) and the proud grandmothe­r of seven wonderful grandchild­ren, Beau, Baron, Jack, Drew, Lily Grace, Elle and Claire. She is survived by two sisters, Annis Lister of Atlanta, Texas, and Faye Reynolds (Jay) of Alexandria, La., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the teacher of WINGS (Women in God’s Service).

–––––❖––––– J.V. PLEDGER, 82, of North Little Rock passed away October 29, 2015. He was born October 12, 1933, in Dutch Creek, Arkansas, to the late Thomas Andrew and Nena Maude Ann Walker Pledger. J.V. was a great father and grandfathe­r, wonderful husband, believed in Jesus Christ as his savior and is walking on the streets of glory. He was an avid hunter, fantastic fisherman and loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Margaret C. Pledger; daughters, Helen Sue Pledger Martin, Patricia Ann Gibbs, Peggy Sue Wallace, and Janice Michelle (Shelly) Pilger; nine grandchild­ren; and six great-grandchild­ren. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Born in Rosebud, Texas, to Walter and Beatrice Wagoner Pucek, he was a track star and graduate of Rice University in Houston, Texas, and retired from Gulf Oil/ Chevron after 35 years of service. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in North Little Rock.

Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Pucek, he is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sophia Pucek; son, Kelly Pucek (Sarah) of Jackson, Tennessee; daughters, Dawn Menard (Andy) of North Little Rock and Alison Raymond (Chris) of Sherwood; brother, Mark Pucek of Houston, Texas; sisters, JoAnn Bostwick of Littleton, Colorado, Joyce Arthur of Columbus, Texas, and Janie Shaffner of Pearland, Texas; and seven grandchild­ren, Drew and Trent Menard, Will and Betha Pucek, and Jude, Zac and Izabella Raymond.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 1, from 2-4 p.m., followed by the Rosary at 4 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Road). The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father John Wakube, A.J. at 9:45 a.m. Monday, November 2, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was an Army veteran, serving at the Germany 6th Army Headquarte­rs, 1960 until 1962. Dale retired from Reynolds Metal Company, living in Houston then moving to El Dorado. He loved woodworkin­g and collecting guns as a hobby.

Dale is survived by his son, Todd (Patty) Whatley, daughter, Jennifer (Wade) Salisbury, brother, A.G. Whatley, sisters, Ruth Hunter and Marilyn McCool, grandchild­ren, Tyler and Abby Whatley, Logan and Trevor Salisbury.

He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers; and one sister. He is survived by one daughter: Rochelle Smith (Tracy) of Austin, Arkansas; three grandchild­ren: Tanner Morris, Kamron Smith, and Mandy McDaniel all of Austin; one sister: Winnie Joslin of El Paso, Arkansas; and one brother: Billy Morris of McFarland, California, and extended family.

Bobby loved horses, rodeos and deer hunting. He was of the Pentecost faith and he worked as a farmer.
