CONFERENCE USA
Game of the week
Western Kentucky at Old
Dominion: Western Kentucky hung with No. 4 LSU for a little while last week, trailing 14-7 at the half before the Tigers pulled away in the second half. The Hilltoppers look to carry some of the positives from that game over as they get back into conference play, heading to Virginia to take on Old Dominion. A win would keep the Hilltoppers atop the East division, keeping pace with Marshall, also unbeaten in conference play.
Around Conference USA
UTEP at Southern Mississippi: After snapping a two-game skid last week against Florida Atlantic, UTEP hopes to get back in the thick of the conference race as they head to Hattiesberg, Miss., to take on Southern Mississippi. The Golden Eagles look to extend their winning streak to three games and keep pace with Louisiana Tech atop the West division.
Florida International at Florida Atlantic: Florida International hopes to put together back-to-back wins for the first time this season as the Panthers head to Boca Raton to take on a Florida Atlantic squad looking to put an end to its second threegame losing streak of the season.
Marshall at Charlotte: Marshall looks to remain unbeaten in conference play as they head to North Carolina to take on a Charlotte squad still in search of their first conference win of 2015.
UTSA at North Texas: This intra-state matchup features a pair of teams with just one win between them. UTSA hopes to keep North Texas in the cellar, while a win for the Mean Green would pull them even with the Roadrunners.
