LAUREN ELIZABETH LAVENDER ZACHARY STEPHEN PACHECO
Lauren Elizabeth Lavender and Zachary Stephen Pacheco were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at P. Allen Smith’s Moss Mountain Farm. Morgan Hall officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Darla and Dr. Robert Lavender, 6001 Ridgefield Lane. Her grandparents are Patricia and the late Kenneth Lavender of Little Rock and Verna and Jimmy Rogers of Waldron.
The groom is the son of Tracey and Sean Dockery of Warsaw, Mo., and Michael Pacheco of Frankfort, Ky. His grandparents are the late June and Richard Lee of Staten Island, N.Y., Frank Pacheco and Mary Leftwich of North Little Rock and the late Frances Pacheco.
Ceremony music was by the Jarboe String Quartet.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a fit-and-flare gown of ivory lace and tulle with a sweetheart neckline and sweep train. She also wore a matching off-the-shoulder lace jacket with scalloped trim. She carried a bouquet of roses, dark purple calla lilies, green hypericum and curly willow.
Maid of honor was Marie Britt of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Sara Schneider, Lauren Nehus and Kathleen Zani, all of Little Rock; Kristyn Pittman of Austin, Texas; and Cassidy Stoner of Littleton, Colo., cousin of the groom. They wore sleeveless burgundy gowns with V-neck matte-satin bodices and full crepe skirts. They carried bouquets that matched the bride’s.
Flower girls were Ella Pacheco of Fayetteville, Abigail Tow of Sellersberg, Ind., and Adalyn Justice of Crothersville, Ind., all cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Jordan Pacheco, also of Fayetteville and a cousin of the groom.
Dr. Patrick Selakovich of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Dalby and Sam Nagel, both of Memphis; Dr. Jacob Lewis and Dr. Jacob Carlson, both of Little Rock; and Kyle Stoner of Littleton, cousin of the groom. Guests were seated by Charles Lavender of Little Rock, brother of the bride; Nicholas Pacheco, Jacob Pacheco and Joshua Pacheco, all of Warsaw and brothers of the groom.
A reception, also at the farm, followed the ceremony. Three long rows of farm tables alternated tall and short fall arrangements of roses, purple chrysanthemums, hydrangeas and hanging amaranthus. Music was by the DMP Band.
The bride graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. She is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
The groom also graduated from UA with a bachelor’s degree in biology and is a fourth-year medical student at UAMS.
The couple will live in Little Rock and plan a delayed honeymoon in Europe after residency interviews and the match process are over.
