Quick to point finger
A couple of U.S. Navy boats reportedly suffered a mechanical failure and violated Iranian waters. The sailors were momentarily held by Iran.
Immediately our junior senator, Tom Cotton, is on national TV blaming President Barack Obama and the nuclear deal, squawking about using our military to retaliate for this openly “hostile action,” and clearly preferring to promote his partisan divisiveness while ignoring the welfare of our sailors. But before the sun rises the next day, the sailors are released by Iran and report they were treated well.
It seems Cotton’s bellicose and opportunistic rhetoric is exposed as nothing more than running off at the mouth. JIM ARGUE JR.
