CLASSIC COLORS AUTO BODY

Shop helps clients get back on the road

-

For 26 years, Classic Colors Auto Body has offered dedicated service to customers and a personal touch to their vehicles.

In 1990, owner Allen Thomas started the business by doing overall paint jobs on older cars, and his reputation grew, he said.

“After a few years, I hired a body technician, which made it possible for us to start doing collision repair,” Thomas said. “Putting the customer first and focusing on quality work, we outgrew the building we were renting.”

In 1995, Classic Colors purchased property across the street from the shop’s original location and built a much larger facility, where the business still operates.

“Our business has grown a lot since then, but we still focus on the customer and quality workmanship,” Thomas said.

The business’s reputation has been built by customers, who voted the shop Best of the Best in a local publication five years in a row. Thomas has been able to upgrade the facilities and equipment for certification in all aluminum vehicles.

“Only a handful of collision-repair facilities in the state will get this training and certification,” Thomas said.

In addition to collision repair, Classic Colors offers paintless dent repair and detailing.

Thomas said treating the customer right is important at Classic Colors. He said he measures satisfaction in his work by the many customers who tell him they will be back if they need his services again.

Thomas said he has stayed true to that philosophy for 26 years. “I’m looking forward to the next 26,” he said.
