LR stabbing death leads to one arrest.

The Little Rock Board of Directors will vote Tuesday on hiring a firm to update the city’s Master Parks Plan.

The plan was last updated in 2001.

“Park industry standards recommend that master plans be updated every ten years to ensure service levels are still relevant and appropriate,” a memorandum to the board said.

The city is asking the board to approve up to $150,000 for a contract with Lose & Associates, a landscape architecture, architecture, civil engineering and planning firm.
