Funeral home continues warmhearted care with new ownership

After nearly 30 years of experience in the funeral business, Marc Robison became owner of Thomas Funeral Service last October. Although its ownership has changed, he said the company’s commitment to compassionate, affordable service will remain the same.

“Mark Thomas and I were good friends,” he said. “He wanted us to have [the business] so it would remain a small family-owned funeral home.”

Robison was raised in Northwest Arkansas. After serving in the U.S. Air Force for six years, he attended mortuary school in Dallas. He recently purchased Wilson Robison Funeral Home in England.

He and his wife, Leslie, have four children: their daughter, Macy; their oldest son, Mac; and twin boys, Gavin and Gage.

Thomas Funeral Service offers a variety of mortuary services, including prearrangements, immediate burials and cremation. The business also offers funeral packages, but customers can customize packages to fit their needs.

“We provide excellent service to our community in Cabot at a very reasonable price,” Robison said.

The company’s dedicated staff understands that not everyone is prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for loved ones, so the team works hard to help plan a meaningful funeral or memorial service. Thomas Funeral Service’s licensed funeral directors are intimately familiar with the planning process, the key decisions a family must make and the necessary legal documentation that is required. These funeral professionals can handle all the details to help create a unique service that fits a family’s needs and values.

“The most important thing is that our customers feel like we took care of their family like we would want our family taken care of in a time of need,” Robison said. “I just want to carry on the Thomas family tradition of outstanding service.”

Thomas Funeral Service also has resources on its website that offer help in dealing with the grieving process. The facility is in downtown Cabot, close to restaurants, hotels and florists.
