Actress Jennifer Lawrence is a girl on fire — at least monetarily speaking. Lawrence topped Forbes magazine’s list as the world’s h igh - est-paid actress for the secondyear, banking $46 million thanks to her paycheck for the final Hunger Games installment. Lawrence out-earned second-ranked Melissa McCarthy, who took in $33 million and Scarlett Johansson at No. 3 with $25 million. Together, the world’s 10 highest-paid actresses tallied a combined $205 million between June 1, 2015, and June 1, 2016, before fees and taxes, according to Forbes. Acting is fine, but singing might be better. Earlier this summer, Forbes released its annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities and Taylor Swift was on top with $170 million and the group One Direction was at No. 2 with $110 million.

Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas and musician and actress Laura Marano are among the celebrity judges for the 2017 Miss America competition. The Miss America Organization said the two will be joined by NBA team owner and businessman Mark Cuban; actress Sara Foster; singer-songwriter Cole Swindell; former Miss America Sharlene Wells Hawkes; and singer/ model Ciara. Douglas was the first all-around Olympic gold medalist in U.S. history to earn a spot on a second Olympic team. She also is one of two American gymnasts to win gold medals in backto-back Olympics. Marano played Ally in the Disney Channel’s Austin & Ally show and will release a new album this year. The panel will evaluate the contestants’ performance in swimsuits, evening wear, talent, interviews and answering onstage questions. The pageant finale will be broadcast live from Atlantic City, N.J., on ABC on Sept. 11, hosted by Chris Harrison and Sage Steele.
