Rebecca Anne Smithson and Hollis Bailey Moll exchanged marriage vows at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Carroll Koon officiated.
Parents of the bride are Diane and Dennis Smithson of Bryant. Her grandparents are Annette Stanton and the late Jim Stanton, both of Bryant, and the late Melva Irvin and Dwain Smithson, both of Little Rock.
Parents of the bridegroom are Sandy and Dudley Moll of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Donna and Hollis Bailey of Pine Bluff and the late Mary Ann and Pete Moll of Stuttgart.
Tall trumpet vases on each side of the altar held towering arrangements of curly willow, white hydrangeas and baby’s breath. Music was by pianist Barbara Aldridge; organist Larry Smithson, uncle of the bride; and David Hunt, uncle of the bridegroom, who sang “The Lord’s Prayer.”
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory tulle. The skirt was embellished with silver beading and a scalloped hem. She carried a bouquet of white peonies, white roses, baby’s breath and silver dollar eucalyptus.
Rachel Elizabeth Morrow of Little Rock served as her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Tracy Neal and Paige Preusse, both of Rogers; Emily Farris of Washington; and Donna Graham of Fayetteville, sister of the bridegroom. They wore gowns in different styles with gold and silver beading and carried nosegays of hydrangeas, roses and baby’s breath.
Flower girl and ring bearer were Ellie Hunt and Benjamin Hunt, both of Fayetteville and cousins of the bridegroom.
Best man was James Patton Alley of Denver. Groomsmen were Andrew Graham of Fayetteville, Ryan Morrow of Little Rock, Preston Baker of Cleveland and Joshua Johnson of Rogers.
Guests were seated by Michael Dodd of Bentonville and James Baxter, Michael Bardwell and Thomas Liner, all of Fayetteville.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Albert Pike Masonic Center. Dinner tables were covered with white tablecloths and gold toppers and centered with trumpet vases filled with white gladiolus and bells of Ireland. Cocktail tables held small bouquets of white hydrangeas and baby’s breath. Music was by the GroanUps. Assisting were Sarah Roberson and Rebecca Tennille.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is a senior development manager at City Year Little Rock.
The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in political science from UA and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is a public relations specialist at JPJ Consulting LLC.
After a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the couple will make their home in Little Rock.
