Shop offers range of beauty services, exclusive styles

Located in downtown Searcy, Bliss Salon & Boutique couples an array of salon services with an unbeatable product line to bring customers the best of both worlds. Owner Paige Norman said the downtown location places the shop at the nexus of the Searcy community.

“The downtown area is the city’s heart and soul,” Norman said. “This is our history.”

Bliss Salon & Boutique is a fullservice hair salon that includes hair color, styling, cuts, perms and straightening treatments. The salon also offers gel manicures and pedicures, facials and massages. Clients can choose from a wide variety of beauty products, including a full line of Jane Iredale mineral makeup.

“We have the only Bumble and bumble hair product line in Searcy,” she said, adding that she feels she also has some of the best stylists, massage therapists, estheticians and nail technicians in town.

Norman has worked to expand the boutique’s offerings by filling it with unique, trendy items for women of all ages. Some of the lines available are Liverpool Jeans, Neon Buddha, Jag Jeans and Sak handbags. “We try to carry unique things that no one else has,” Norman said.

“My favorite part of owning the salon is getting to meet new people and being a part of the community,” she added. “I hope that they will think of us as friendly people who are willing to help them.”
