RIVERWIND BANK

Bank puts customer service first

-

Staff members of RiverWind Bank, formerly The Bank of Augusta, pride themselves on customer service and a variety of benef icial services that make banking easy for the community. Through these values, the bank has maintained loyal customers while providing a positive atmosphere.

The bank is a privately held community bank with four locations serving White and Woodruff counties. Throughout its 82-year history, the bank has remained a fixture of the community through investment and development opportunities.

The company was chartered in 1935 and succeeded through the economic hardships of the time by receiving deposits of more than $120,000 and more than $150,000 in assets the first day. Since then, the bank has continued to serve as a trusted business in the area.

In 2015, its board of directors recognized a need to select a new name to represent the company’s growth and stay on point with banking regulations that make expansion necessary. The White River has had a strong bearing on the development, recreation and entertainment of the community, so to honor Augusta’s rich history and geography while upholding the standards of the bank’s founders, the board decided to change the bank’s name and rebrand the business as RiverWind Bank.

The bank has served the financial needs of Augusta residents for 82 years by blending old-fashioned principles of quality and tradition with the latest in technological advances and convenient service for customers.

With 33 employees in four locations to serve the Three Rivers Edition coverage area, the business continues its tradition of excellent customer service and commitment to the community.

The company’s locations include the main location on South Second Street in Augusta and locations on U.S. 64 in Augusta, West Beebe-Capps Expressway in Searcy and Hartsfield Drive in Searcy.

The bank strives to make banking a breeze by offering secure and practical solutions to meet the banking needs of individuals and businesses in the region. RiverWind truly is a do-it-all bank.
