WOOD’S FEED STORE

Providing Cabot’s oldest family business since 1937

-

Treating customers well and offering top-quality products aren’t out-of-date concepts for Wood’s Feed Store.

Since 1937, Wood’s Feed Store has dedicated itself to being the only locally owned feed store in the city that provides a variety of products, all while ensuring that customers’ product needs are met every time they walk out of the store.

Diversity and quantity of products are the name of the game at Wood’s Feed Store, which offers a full line of products for the farm, house and garden, as well as pet supplies. Wood’s Feed Store carries over 200 varieties of food for dogs and cats. The store also provides feed for cows, horses, chickens and goats, and even monkey, camel and other exotic animal feed. Baby chicks will be arriving weekly until June.

During gardening season, customers will find a full line of bedding plants, as well as bulk and packaged seeds, for gardening and landscaping projects. To help maintain a healthy garden, the business carries a complete line of safe chemicals for fertilizing and insect control.

The staff at Wood’s Feed Store enhances those products with expert knowledge and customer service that manager Jackie Mahoney said is “unbeatable.”

“We are one of the few remaining companies that still carry our customers’ purchases to the car for their convenience,” Mahoney said.

Providing top-notch customer service means the first step is getting to know the people the store serves, and that involves asking specific questions about their product needs so that when they leave, they are satisfied.

“I’d like to thank God for blessing our lives with an opportunity to serve the great citizens of central Arkansas,” Mahoney said.
