Friendly, experienced staff helps serve local poultry industry

For more than 26 years, Batesville Poult r y Equipment has prov ided outstanding service and high-quality product s to the thr iving poult r y industry in Arkansas.

The company’s staff members are seasoned and professional, but they are also trustworthy and honest, and genuinely care about their customers, secretary Leslie Trucks said.

“We want our customers to have peace of mind, knowing that they will be treated fairly,” she said. “We strive to do the best job that we can possibly do in a timely manner.”

The company’s president, Mark Trucks, has spent most of his life in the poultry business, she said. The Trucks family, through generations, has served the poultry industry for more than five decades. Batesville Poultry Equipment now employs 35 staff members.

“Batesv i l le Poult r y is a strong company that has been around, servicing the poultr y industry, for years,” she said. “Our staff members have years of experience and are very knowledgeable in every area of the poultry industry.”

The business builds and equips chicken houses, and it also constructs litter sheds, compost sheds and hay barns. It stocks Cumberland-brand poultry equipment.

In addition, the company provides a knowledgeable service technician who is available to customers every day around the clock, Leslie said.

“We have been around for years, and we are very experienced in this industry,” she said. “We service what we sell and stand behind our work. We carry a full line of poultry equipment to meet all needs.”

Owning a local business gives the family an opportunity to give back to the community, she added.

“We want our customers to know that they are important to us,” she said. “Our customers become our lifelong friends.”

Batesville Poultry Equipment has locations in Batesville, Pocahontas and Rison. It is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
