Carolyn and Toney Earl

Abbott of Cabot will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at 2 p.m. April 1 at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The couple were married April 1, 1967. She is the former Carolyn Marie Wilkins and retired from the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System. He retired as an elementary school principal from the Pulaski County Special School District. They are the parents of Amber Long, David Abbott, Bryan Abbott and Karen Pieroni, all of Cabot, and the late Todd Abbott. The couple have eight grandchildren.

Sharyon and Friedrich

(Freddy) Earl Beck of Sherwood have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 18, 1967. She is the former Sharyon Lynn Hodge and a retired schoolteacher. He is vice president of Morris Beck Construction Co.

Lena and Robert Charles

Evans of Cabot will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 27, 1952. She is the former Lena Vernell Wiggs. Both are retired.

Roma and Jim Richardson of Piggott will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple were married March 31, 1957. She is the former Roma Blake and retired from Phillips County Community College. He retired from the University of Arkansas Agriculture Experiment Station, Cotton Branch. They are the parents of Blake Richardson of Jonesboro; Hattie Mae Carter of Lakeland, Tenn.; Ben Richardson of Little Rock; John Richardson of Hernando, Miss.; Bobby Richardson of Antioch, Tenn.; and Kate LeBeau of Mandeville, La.
