DATE AND PLACE OF BIRTH: Jan. 31, 1970, Forrest City RIGHT NOW I’M READING Sit Walk Stand by Watchman Nee. It’s a religious book. I don’t sit around and read books so much because I read so much at work. I’m not a big novel reader.

IF I’VE LEARNED ANYTHING IN LIFE, IT’S don’t slough off. Work hard and don’t take short cuts. My favorite quote is from Henry Ford, “Whether you think you can or you can’t, you are probably right.”

I DON’T TOLERATE loose ends. I need stuff wrapped up and issues resolved. I can’t walk by a door knob that’s loose without stopping to fix it.

A PET PEEVE OF MINE: People talking when they shouldn’t be, whether in class or in a seminar or in church. That’s not being respectful.

MY FAVORITE LEISURE ACTIVITIES ARE Cycling, tubing on Greers Ferry Lake with my family and going to car shows with my father-in-law.

FAVORITE AUTOMOBILES: 1966 Ford pickup, 1978 Ford Bronco

AN IMAGE OF MY FATHER I REMEMBER WELL: At his funeral someone came up to me and said, “Your father was the only man I ever knew who could carry a new cross tie on each shoulder.” He was a big, strong guy.

ONE WORD TO SUM ME UP: grateful
