I-440 lanes to close for guardrail work

Replacing damaged guardrails on Interstate 440 in Little Rock will require lane closures today, the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said.

Contractors will close the outside westbound lane at Faulkner Lake Road and close the westbound inside shoulder and narrow the exit ramp for U.S. 70 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using warning signs, traffic signals, flaggers and cones, the department said.
