MARIE EUDY, loving wife and mother, peacefully passed away in her home Wednesday April 26, 2017, at age 91. Wife to decorated WWII veteran Ralph Eudy (deceased) and mother to five beautiful daughters: JoAnn Nichols (deceased), Carolyn Collins, Judy Stevens, Rita Wagner, and Donna Eudy. She was matriarch to five generation­s: 12 grandchild­ren, 19 great-grandchild­ren, and two great-great-grandchild­ren. Known for the best homemade biscuits in town and her love for the Bible. –––––❖––––– Senior Master Sergeant (Ret) CLIFTON EDWARD (ED) MORAN JR., went to be with his Lord, April 25, 2017. Ed was born October 20, 1927, in Bartlett, Tenn., to Clifton and Ruth Claghorn Moran. Ed was predecease­d by his parents; his first wife, Juanita Sivewright Moran; sisters, Sandra King, Nancy Suddeth and Alice Kerr.

He was a veteran of three wars serving in the Navy at Kwajalein during WWII and later as an Airman in Korea and in Vietnam. He retired after 27 years in the Air Force. Ed was a faithful member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church since 1986 where he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher, greeter, usher and served on several committees including the Handyman Committee.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; sons David (Sandy) of Gainesvill­e, Ga., Roy (Candy) of Liberty, Mo., step-son, Chip Excell Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; brother Homer of Alexander, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren; 15 great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses that took such good care of Ed; Drs. Heifner, Baltz, Mooney, Griffin, Wallace and Cooper, as well as, Arkansas Hospice and VA Palliative Care Unit.

There will be a Celebratio­n Service at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Geyer Springs First Baptist Church, 12400 I-30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210. A visitation will begin at 12 noon prior to the service. –––––❖––––– CHARLES H. WALTERS JR., went to be with his Lord on April 27, 2017. He was born November 28, 1941 in Qulin, Missouri to the late Cleoria Ann Stocks Walters and Charles H. Walters Sr. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Christophe­r and two grandchild­ren. He retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service. He later retired from the Corp of Engineers.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Florence French Walters, his daughter Annetta Lynn Ray (Greg) of Florida, his son, Charles E. Walters (Scarlett) of Hot Springs, six grandchild­ren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank his cancer caregivers and Hospice for the care given to Mr. Walters. –––––❖––––– BENTON — Joseph Lee Wise Jr., 84, of Benton, Arkansas passed away April 24, 2017. He was born November 28, 1932 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Joseph Lee Wise Sr. and Climmie Chapman Wise.

Joseph served in the U.S. Navy Sea Bee’s for 32 years and served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a paint and body man by trade. He joined Crawford and Company as a heavy equipment claims adjuster for twenty years and he owned and operated Lee Collision Repair Center in Benton. Joseph served as a transport officer with the Saline County Sheriff department for eight years. He retired five years ago. His special place to go drink coffee was Waffle House in Benton. Joseph loved his family, his church, and his church family at New Beginning Bible

Church.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Oneda Wise; and two brothers, Joe Ed Wise and Forrest Eugene Wise. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Josephine Lucas Wise of Benton; three sons, Donnie R. Wise of Little Rock, Gary Lee Wise of Benton, and William Fredrick Wise and wife Debbie of Little Rock; four grandchild­ren, Sean Wise and wife Chrystle, Sheika Rowell and husband George, April Wise, and Rebecca Huey and husband Danny; great-grandchild­ren, Jace Wise, Heather Wise, Addison Bean, Noah Bean, Morgan Huey, Audrey Huey, Adam Huey, and Grayson Rowell; brother, Franklin F. Wise and wife Jean of Richmond, Virginia; one special niece, Shelly Cantrell; nieces and nephews who he loved as his grandchild­ren; and a host of family and friends who love Joseph and will miss him always.

She enjoyed singing in trios and in church, as well as ministerin­g and witnessing alongside her husband at the Sheridan and Malvern jails and in prison ministries. She was known to recite scriptures to the inmates. She was a “Mother” to many women and nursing home residents. Margaret loved Jesus dearly.

She dearly loved her children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She was a Godly example to them and to everyone she came in contact with. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, and her grandson, Scott O’Steen. Survivors; best friend, husband, caregiver of 65 years, Norman E.
