Benton boutique offers fashionable selection

Uncommon wares abound at Montalvo Interiors and Apparel, where customers can find exceptional products and exclusive lines, as well as service by attentive, knowledgeable staff.

“My passion is utilizing my creative talent to design a space or offer a wardrobe for our clients that enhances their lives and empowers them,” owner Robert Montalvo said.

The store offers interior design consultations, as well as women’s apparel, jewelry, furniture, wall art, home decor and gifts.

Montalvo, who has more than 15 years of experience as an interior designer and professional buyer, said he hunts for merchandise customers may not see at other small independent shops.

“I love the challenge of researching and finding products not offered in our community,” he said. “I am constantly looking to bring in options our clients won’t find in other shops.”

Bringing joy to clients by exceeding their expectations is one of his favorite parts of the day, he said, adding that he and his staff strive to assist customers with their decisions and put customers’ best interests first.

“The customer experience is our highest priority,” he said. “I focus on their personal style and tailor options to their needs and requests.”

On any given day, customers can catch his family members assisting in the shop. Montalvo said he has deep roots in the community.

“I have lived in Saline County my entire life, and I enjoy seeing and working with lifelong friends, as well as meeting people new to our community and surrounding areas,” he added.
