Arkansas women eliminated in NCAA Tournament
Oklahoma State’s No. 9-ranked women’s tennis team beat No. 19 Arkansas 4-0 in a second-round NCAA Tournament match Sunday in Stillwater, Okla.
The Cowgirls won the doubles point and earned three consecutive victories at the Nos. 4, 5 and 1 singles to clinch the victory.
The University of Arkansas, Fayetteville (18-10) advanced to the second round after beating Wichita State 4-2 on Saturday, the Razorbacks’ first NCAA Tournament victory since 2011. Oklahoma State (24-5) advanced to the round of 16 in Athens, Ga.
Arkansas senior Shannon Hudson will play in the NCAA singles championships May 24-29.
