All-Star coaches announced

The Arkansas High School Coaches Associatio­n announced its coaching staff for the All-Star games to be held June 20-21 in Conway.

The East baseball team will be coached by Ronnie Goodwin of Cabot, with his assistants Bruce Hunt of Greene County Tech, Tommy Richardson of Woodlawn and Jim Tejeck of Mountain Home. The West squad will be coached by Kyle Slayton of Nashville, with assistants Randy Loyd of Magazine, Will McGinnis of Greenland and Ryan Casalman of County Line.

The baseball game will be a doublehead­er at the University of Central Arkansas’ Bear Stadium at 5 p.m. June 20

The East softball team will be coached by Todd Finley of Bald Knob, with his assistants Lisa Dreher of Bryant, Chastan Carpino of Harrisburg and Deanna Carr of Armorel. The West softball team will be coached by Randy Osnes of Farmington, with his assistants Sara Tew of Bauxite, Blue Kesterson of Poyen and Tamara Strawn of Sheridan.

The softball doublehead­er will be played at Farris Field at 5 p.m. June 20.

Coaching the East team in boys soccer is Tyler Woods of Beebe, with assistants Amanda Carter of Jonesboro Westside, Richard Friday of Bryant and Miguel Mondragon of Hamburg. The West team will be coached by Brent Crenshaw of Siloam Springs, with assistants Darren Chandler of Pulaski Oak Grove, Stephen Pack of Rogers and Cory Sturdivant of Hot Springs.

The East team in girls soccer will be coached by Larry Stamps of Searcy, with assistants Michael Klucher of North Little Rock, Kim Paslay of Brookland and D.J. Vincent of Little Rock Parkview. The West team will be coached by Bijan Timjani of Texarkana, with assistants Todd Eskola of Joe T. Robinson, Stephanie Mitchell of Prairie Grove and Michael Riba of Vilonia.

The girls soccer game will start at 5 p.m. at Estes Stadium on June 21, followed by the boys game at 7 p.m.
