MIRIAM NATALIE LEWIS DANIEL MICHAEL WOLF
Miriam Natalie Lewis and Daniel Michael Wolf were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 28, at Temple B’nai Israel. Officiants were Rabbi Barry Block and Rabbi Joey Wolf, uncle of the bridegroom.
The bride is the daughter of Emily and Richard Lewis of Little Rock and the granddaughter of Marian and the late Russell Matson, also of Little Rock, and the late Helen and Nathan Lewis of New York.
Parents of the bridegroom are Debbie and David Wolf of Needham, Mass. His grandparents are Renee and Gordon Swirsky of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Ruth and the late Melvin Wolf of Brookline, Mass.
Vows were exchanged under a traditional Jewish wedding canopy decorated with hydrangeas and roses. Music was by pianist David Schockett.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a lace gown and carried a bouquet of hydrangeas and roses.
Serving as the bride’s matron of honor was her sister, Addie Lewis Klein of Philadelphia. Bridesmaids were Eliza Borne of Little Rock; Shayna Levy of Charleston, S.C.; Darci Aplebaum Lewis of Silver Spring, Md.; Alanna Wolf of Cambridge, Mass., sister of the bridegroom; and Jennifer Wolf of Medfield, Mass.
They wore knee-length navy blue dresses in the style of their choice and carried bouquets of roses and hydrangeas.
Flower girl and ring bearers were Alte Luna Lewis and Hersh Lewis of Silver Spring, and Isaac Klein of Philadelphia, niece and nephews of the bride.
Jesse Wolf of Medfield was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Danny Baskin of Fayetteville; Moises Cohen of Boston; Craig Klein of Philadelphia; Jacob Lewis of Silver Spring, brother of the bride; Jeremy Perkins of Madison, Wis.; David Schockett of Waltham, Mass.; and Herschel Singer of Cambridge.
After the ceremony was a reception, also at Temple B’nai Israel. Tables were decorated with arrangements of hydrangeas and roses. Music by Lagniappe with clarinetist Jim Harper playing klezmer music for the dancing of the hora, a Jewish circle dance.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Yale University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a geriatric social worker at Hebrew SeniorLife, a Harvard Medical affiliate.
The bridegroom has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tufts University and a master’s degree in city planning from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a neighborhood planner for the city of Cambridge.
After a wedding trip to Puerto Rico, the couple will reside in Cambridge.
