RANDY CARL HARRIS JR., left us far too soon at the age of 35, on Friday December 1st, 2017. He is preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Carl Harris, grandfathe­r, Arthur Ray Harris Sr. and grandmothe­r, Claudia Freeman.

Randy is survived by his two precious sons, Cody and Ashton Harris and their mother, Andrea Harris; his mother, Korrine Lancaster of Maumelle, Ark.; father, Randy Harris Sr. and stepmother, Tina Harris of Cabot, Ark.; sister, Amber McKnight and husband Dr. Robert McKnight of Maumelle, Ark.; sister Ashley Jones and husband, Jason Jones of Bend, Ore.; sister Jaclyn Harris, of Cabot; four nieces and four nephews.

Randy was born February 16, 1982 in Little Rock, Ark., and grew up in Maumelle, Ark. He was a 2000 graduate from Oak Grove High School and studied Business Management at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock. No one ever doubted how much Randy loved the Lord and even as a young boy carried his Bible everywhere. When Randy had spare time, you could find him deer hunting, fishing, playing with his boys and spending time with his family. His smile could light up a room and his quick wit and sense of humor kept many laughing. But what he will be remembered for most is his beautiful heart.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 9th, 2017, from 11 a.m. until 12 noon with a Celebratio­n of Life service to follow at 12 p.m. (noon) at McArthur Assembly of God Church, Jacksonvil­le, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a college fund that has been establishe­d at Simmons Bank for the benefit of his two sons, Cody J. Harris and Ashton R. Harris.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wendell and Edna

Malone. Ray is survived by his wife, Glenda

Malone; daughter, Michelle

Robert and Rick

Davis; 13 grandchild­ren; and two great-grandchild­ren. His funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Natural State Funeral Services in Jacksonvil­le. –––––❖––––– MARION LEON SOUTHERLAN­D, 87, of Jacksonvil­le went to be with his Lord on

Friday, December 8, 2017. He was born January 7, 1930, in Delaplaine, Arkansas, to the late Joseph Marion Southerlan­d and Hazel Hall Southerlan­d.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Jarry Southerlan­d. He was a retired minister with the Bible Missionary Church.

He is survived by his wife Rachel Pauline Southerlan­d, his two sons, Michael Southerlan­d (April), Don Southerlan­d, one sister, Doris Janice Clark, five grandchild­ren and eight great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, December 11, 2017 at Moore’s Jacksonvil­le Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Bible Missionary Church, 3001 Old Military Road in Jacksonvil­le.
