October report shows moderate growth in Arkansas’ real estate market
LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Realtors experienced a slight increase in the number of homes sold statewide in October, according to a report released by the Arkansas Realtors Association this week.
The number of homes sold during October increased by 8.52 percent, and the average price of those homes sold rose by 4.58 percent. The average price of homes sold in the 43-county area surveyed by the ARA increased to $178,837 this October, compared to $171,008 last year. In addition, statewide valuations increased by 13.49 over the same time frame last year.
