Wright appointed as Ozarka trustee
MELBOURNE — Robert Wright was recently appointed to the Ozarka College Board of Trustees in Melbourne by Gov. Asa Hutchinson. Wright’s seven-year term will expire in 2024. Wright is a graduate of Melbourne High School and holds a Bachelor of
Science degree in radiologic technology from
Florida Hospital College in Orlando. He is an avid outdoorsman and participates in the activities of his son, Braiden.
Wright began his career at White River Medical
Center in 1989 and has served in administration for the past six years. As associate administrator for physician services, Wright provides leadership and vision for continued development of the
White River Health System’s service area. He manages 34 clinic offices and more than 100 employed providers, covering seven counties in North Central Arkansas.
Prior to his appointment to the board of trustees, Wright served as president of the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technology Board from 2003-2004 and was a guest speaker in 2010. He received the Darmon A. Rhinehart, M.D., Lecture Award at the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists’ annual conference in 2010.
