Tech ROTC inducts first Hall of Honor members

RUSSELLVIL­LE — Arkansas Tech University’s U.S. Army ROTC inducted 12 distinguis­hed alumni of the program into the newly created Arkansas Tech ROTC Hall of Honor during a Homecoming 2017 ceremony on the Russellvil­le campus.

Members of the inaugural Arkansas Tech ROTC Hall of Honor class are Capt. Jimmy Cartwright (awarded posthumous­ly), Maj. Gen. Ronald S. Chastain, Maj. Gen. Harley C. Davis, Brig. Gen. Gracus K. Dunn, Maj. Gen. William E. Harmon, Maj. Gen. Gary W. Johnston, Col. Dalton R. Jones, Brig. Gen. Larry C. Newman, Lt. Col. William J. Sidebottom, Col. William H. Speer, Maj. Gen. William D. Wofford and Col. Stephen A. Womack.

The induction ceremony was held in conjunctio­n with an Arkansas Tech ROTC reunion at Tomlinson Hall.
