69th Junior Cotillion honors Little Rock young achievers
The 69th season of the Little Rock Junior Cotillion concluded Dec. 9 with Holly Ball at the Statehouse Convention Center.
Parents of the fifththrough eighth-grade students chaperoned the event. Music was provided by the Cotillion Band, led by drummer Rocco Blake. Honorees were:
Fifth-grade queen and king: Samantha Smith, daughter of Lee and Zach Smith; and Joshua Tucker, son of Julie Tucker.
Fifth-grade ribbon winners: Molly Dickerson, daughter of Jean Claire and Dan Dickerson of Hot Springs; and Jackson Case, son of Kerry and Charles Case.
Sixth-grade queen and king: Annalynn Steinkamp, daughter of Myra and Andrew Steinkamp; and Thomas Drake, son of Kim and Ryan Drake.
Sixth-grade ribbon winners: Kennedy Coyle, daughter of Amanda and David Coyle; and Kevin Durden, son of Shannon and DeWayne Durden.
Seventh-grade queen and king: Kenley Smith, daughter of Shannon and Kent Smith; and Theo Turriff, son of Mary and Brian Turriff.
Seventh-grade ribbon winners: Kenley Smith and Steve Abachale, son of Deema and Eyad Abachale.
Eighth-grade ideal girl and boy: Sissy Hornsby, daughter of Courtney and Jason Hornsby; and Lance Viscioni-Wilson, son of Lynn Viscioni and David Wilson.
Eighth grade best dancers: Sophie Lehman, daughter of Marie and Heath Lehman; and Dixon Wade, son of Stephanie and John Wade.
