Evelyn and Bill Chester

Canady of Little Rock will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary with family on Jan. 11. The couple were married Jan. 11, 1952. She is the former Evelyn Dugger and a retired nursing supervisor at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He retired as purchasing director for the Pulaski County Special School District. They are the parents of the late Sherri Barnard of Hot Springs Village and have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Tew of North Little Rock celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary Dec. 27 with a family dinner at Saddle Creek Steak House in North Little Rock. The couple were married Dec. 27, 1956. She is the former Mary Jo E. Priest and is a retired executive secretary for the Veterans Administration and IRS. He retired from the Marine Corps, the Air Force and as an IRS program analyst. They are the parents of John Anthony Tew of Dallas.

Kaye and Bill Lowe of North Little Rock have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 23, 1967. She is the former Kaye Kell and retired from the North Little Rock School District. He is retired from the Department of Community Correction. They are the parents of Bert Lowe and Mark Lowe, both of North Little Rock and have four grandchildren.

Geneva and G.W. Johnston of Benton will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 31, 1967. She is the former Geneva Lois Simpson. He is a retired truck driver. Brenda and Charles Edward Walton of Little Rock have celebrated their 50th anniversary. The couple were married Dec. 29, 1967. She is the former Brenda Joyce Stephenson and retired from the Arkansas Education Association. He retired from Windsor Door.
