Shot in foot, victim faces amputation
A man’s injuries from a Little Rock shooting Thursday afternoon will require the amputation of his foot, police said.
The shooting happened a3:53 p.m. in the 1300 block of Adams Street, according to a Little Rock police report.
Officers later found the victim, 42-year-old Teli Clark of Little Rock, at UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock.
Clark told officers he was walking near 12th and Adams streets when a blue Pontiac Bonneville drove up. Occupants inside then yelled before Clark heard multiple gunshots, authorities said.
As Clark ran, he was shot and suffered a “large hole” in his foot, officers noted. Doctors told police his foot “would be amputated.”
