Closure to affect U.S. 67/167 lane

Work on a new $25.5 million interchange at U.S. 67/167 and Arkansas 38 north of Cabot will require intermittent lane closings through Feb. 1, the Arkansas Department of Transportation said.

The outside southbound lane of U.S. 67/167 at that location will be closed intermittently beginning at 9 a.m. each day through 6 a.m. the following day.

If a lane closing isn’t in place by 11 a.m., it won’t occur that day, the department said. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers, signs and traffic drums.
