Junior guard B.J. Johnson scored the Wildcats’ final seven points to lift El Dorado over the Bruins.

Johnson hit a three-pointer with 1:39 left to break a 55-55 tie. He added a layup 22 seconds later that put El Dorado (8-10) on top 60-55.

Pulaski Academy (8-5) cut the Wildcats’ advantage to one with a field goal and two free throws by senior guard Tra Johnson, but El Dorado’s Johnson capped the scoring with two free throws with 9 seconds left.

The Bruins had a chance to tie, but a three-pointer from the top of the arc was long.

Junior Joderrio Ramey and sophomore Brendan Simmons each scored 14 points to lead El Dorado. Johnson and senior Bishop Foster each added 11 points.

Tra Johnson led Pulaski Academy with 19 points. E.J. Anderson added 10 for the Bruins.
