Mary Elizabeth Dixon and Jonathan Zell Barnett plan to marry Oct. 20 at Angelo’s Garden Event Venue in Mayflower.

She is the daughter of Alisa Blaize Dixon of North Little Rock and Holly Hertzfeld and Dr. Keith Alan Dixon of Houston. Her grandparents are the late Josie and Leo Paul Blaize Jr. and the late Dolores Jean and Charles Ernest Dick. She is a graduate of Pace University and Louisiana State University and has bachelor’s degrees in international management and environmental engineering. She is water resources engineer for Gresham, Smith and Partners.

His parents are Anna Catherine and Jonathan Clay Barnett of Houston. He is the grandson of Carolyn and Bradford Byron Waller of Dallas and Lorraine and the late Zell Gaston Barnett of Montgomery, Ala. He graduated from Texas A&M and LSU and has a bachelor’s degree in environmental geoscience and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. He is a process safety engineer with Huber Engineered Woods.

Samantha Tagerman, daughter of Lauren and Neil Tagerman of Newton, Mass., and Brandon Oxner, son of Melanie and Roland Dancy and Richard Oxner, all of Little Rock; Sept. 1.

Kaitlyn Shelby Hines, daughter of Stacia Wehunt and Gary Wehunt, both of Fort Smith, and David Alan Gardner, son of Stephanie and Alan Gardner of Little Rock; Dec. 1.

Melanie Anne Mines, daughter of Anne and Timothy Mines of Little Rock, and Michael James Trivella, son of Adrienne and Thomas Trivella of Sea Girt, N.J.; Aug. 25.
