SATURDAYS THROUGH SEPT. 8 CABOT FARMERS MARKET CABOT
Looking for fresh produce and unique, handmade items? The Cabot Farmers Market, at 1122 S. Second St., has a variety of local vendors. From sweet fruits to artisan soaps, the Cabot Farmers Market offers a great opportunity to meet local growers and craftsmen.
AUG. 3 FIRST FRIDAY CRAFTS TOLTEC MOUNDS ARCHEOLOGICAL STATE PARK
Learn about the craftsmanship of Arkansas’ Native American people at this event. Everyone who attends will make and take home a duck decoy assembled from cattail leaves. AUG. 23 DOWNTOWN LONOKE OUTDOOR MOVIE LONOKE
Grab your family, some lawn chairs and a blanket, and check out a movie in the great outdoors. The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and takes place in the First State Bank parking lot at 117 E. Front St. in Lonoke.
AUG. 25 STICKS AND STONES: A SPEAR AND ATLATL WORKSHOP TOLTEC MOUNDS ARCHEOLOGICAL STATE PARK
For thousands of years, humans relied upon bows and arrows, spears, atlatls and blowguns to survive. Members of the staff at Toltec Mounds Archeological State Park give a unique, hands-on opportunity to learn how to use these weapons. Participants will make a spear and atlatl to take home. SEPT. 15-22 LONOKE COUNTY FAIR LONOKE
The annual Lonoke County Fair is filled with rides, fair foods and a livestock show. Guests can check out the Rodeo Queen Pageant, crafts, fine arts and many other activities. For more information, visit www. lonokefair.com.
SEPT. 29 COMMUNITY THEATRE OF CABOT PRESENTS HEE HAW CABOT

OCT. 27 LONOKE COUNTY AG FEST ENGLAND
The Lonoke County Ag Fest is a day filled with music, food and entertainment. Visitors can check out the Ag Fest Car Show, which features a variety of classic and modern rides.
