The Cabot Chamber of Commerce is a growing organizati­on with more than 400 businesses that participat­e and promote the community for the future of Cabot and Lonoke County. The chamber’s committees, events and programs provide businesses in Cabot the opportunit­y to gain exposure throughout the community. The Cabot Chamber of Commerce also supports two vital components of the growth of the city of Cabot: the Cabot Public School District and the Little Rock Air Force Base. The chamber and volunteers are committed to building stronger relationsh­ips with its members and working diligently while striving to create positive partnershi­ps throughout the city. GOOD TO KNOW: Members of the Cabot Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce the city’s 40th annual CabotFest on Oct. 11-13. The free festival will feature a variety of bands, including Tragikly White and tributes to Elvis, Lynrd Skynrd and Garth Brooks. Other events and attraction­s include the Great CabotFest Treasure Hunt, a 5K, Build a Pal, a celebrity eating contest, a trackless train, Natural State Heroes, cricket spitting, a car show, the CabotFest Pageant and more. A variety of food vendors with some returning and a few added food trucks will join the festival, along with more than 100 vendors and attraction­s for all ages.
