WILLIAM JOSEPH (BILL) BLAYLOCK, 85, of Little Rock died Monday, August 27, 2018. He was born February 27, 1933 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. and Mary (Butcher) Blaylock; and two brothers,

Dick Blaylock and Bob Blaylock. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Frankie Sue Ewell Blaylock of Little Rock; one son, Jay Blaylock (LaDonna) of Sherwood; one granddaugh­ter, Allison Blaylock of Bryant, who was the apple of his eye; three siblings, brother, Jim Blaylock (Agnes) of Hot Springs; sister, Martha Rossington (Booty) of Boerne, Texas; brother, John Blaylock (Gloria) of Port O’Connor, Texas, and numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock. PAT BOOTH, 72, of Little Rock went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning, August 27, 2018. She was born April 2, 1946 in Church Hill, Tennessee to the late Ira Tom Allen and Ruth Thomas Allen.

ARNOLD “ARNIE” J. HABIG,

Col. (ret.) U.S. Army, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018 with family by his side. Born January 23, 1934 to Margaret and Bill Habig.

A graduate of Alfred University (NY), he had a distinguis­hed 30-year military career, with tour of duties included SETAF in Italy, Johnston Atoll, Vietnam, Korea and several stateside posts. After retiring from the army, he worked for DHS in Arkansas for 10 years.

Although a native New Yorker, Arnie considered Arkansas his home. His first assignment, he was sent to Little Rock during the Central High integratio­n crisis of 1957, where he met and married the love of his life, Jean Magee. They enjoyed 60 years together.

In his retirement years, he contribute­d countless hours to the Downtown LR Community Developmen­t, Friends of Lake Ouachita, AARP tax preparatio­n, and IC Catholic Church. He was an avid deer hunter in the fall, while summer time was spent camping and boating with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife, Jean; children, David Habig, Gillian Carrington, Michele Christense­n (Gerry); four grandchild­ren, Cody, Ashley, Malia, Tanner; and great-grandson, Parker; his sister, Marilyn and twin brother, Bob.

A visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Friday, August 31, 2018 followed by a rosary service at 7 p.m., at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Chapel Cemetery. SAVANAH HENDERSON-HOOD, 77, of Little Rock, formerly of Brinkley, died Thursday, August 23 at her daughter’s home in Brinkley. OSCAR AKELO LUNG’AHO, a beloved husband and father, was born July

27, 1965 and transition­ed on August 26, 2018. When Oscar was 19 years old, he traveled to the U.S. for education opportunit­ies. He met his loving wife, Wanda. They settled in Arkansas where Oscar fathered four handsome boys (Luanzo, Mujera, John, and Calvin). Oscar left his impression on the neighborho­od with love and care as a mentor, coach and more. He was resilient until the day he left this earth.

Family hour August 30, 2018, 6-7 p.m. at Superior. Oscar’s funeral services will be at Bethel AME Church 600 N. Cedar Street North Little Rock Friday August 31, 2018 at 11 a.m.

His wish is to be buried in his homeland, Kenya, and assist in completing renovation­s for his home church. In honor of his last wish his family is asking for donations to assist in the effort to transport his body and complete the church.

BETTY JEAN PAGE, 84, of Little Rock went to be with the Lord August 27, 2018. She was born in Columbus, Mississipp­i on September 11, 1933 to Rudolph and Mary Monosmith. From the time she was a little girl, Betty could hardly wait to be a wife and mother. She always put her family first and was blessed to have come from a Christian family. Betty served as a minister’s wife, including 24 years as an Air Force Chaplains wife. She was a credit to herself and the Air Force through her ministry of music and love. She lived life well, has run the race and entered the heavenly gates where her Father will have said “well done good and faithful servant.”

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson; Michael Page. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years; Bill, four children; John Michael Page (Debbie), Connie Hayes, Gail Millward (Jeff), Stephen Rudolph Page, two sisters; Pat Shoptaugh (Phil), Alice Pickton (Shay) and many loving grandchild­ren; great-grandchild­ren; nieces and nephews.

TAMARA S. TIDWELL, 64, of Little Rock, Arkansas passed from this life on August 26, 2018.

She was born on March 20, 1954 in Long Beach California to Albert and Norma Jean Young.

Tamara enjoyed the outdoors, cycling, sewing, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her father, Albert Young. Tamara leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 37 years, James L. Tidwell; two children, Whitney Tidwell (Adam Isom) and James W.
