Artists’ networking sessions scheduled in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts will hold a series of networking event for art students, artists and art lovers and advocates throughout the state. The central Arkansas event will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock.

Barbara Satterfiel­d of Conway, event coordinato­r, said, “ACNMWA looks forward to these conversati­ons — times for all of us to connect with a wide network of Arkansans who advocate for the arts and who could benefit from the opportunit­ies Arkansas Committee programs make available.”

Events feature guided facility and exhibit tours following the networking sessions led by ACNMWA members that include informatio­n about the nonprofit’s annual stipends and programs that benefit Arkansas women artists.
