Candidates’ forum to re-air this week

A forum featuring Little Rock’s mayoral and city board candidates is scheduled to air several more times on the city’s public access channel, Channel 11, before the Nov. 6 election.

It was hosted by the Coalition of Greater Little Rock Neighborho­ods on Oct. 13.

Baker Kurrus, Warwick Sabin, Glen Schwarz, Frank Scott Jr. and Vincent Tolliver are running for mayor.

Their answers to questions on city issues will air at 8 p.m. today, 5 p.m. Monday, 1 p.m. Tuesday, 9 a.m. Wednesday, 4 a.m. Thursday, 1 a.m. Friday, 8 p.m. on Nov. 3, 5 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 5.

Ted Adkins, Herbert Broadway, Bryan Frazier, Greg Henderson, incumbent Erma Hendrix, Ronnie Jackson, Curtis Johnson, Danny Lewis and Robert Webb are running for Ward 1.

Their answers will air at 4 a.m. today, 1 a.m. Monday, 8 p.m. Tuesday, 5 p.m. Wednesday, 1 p.m. Thursday, 9 a.m. Friday, 4 a.m. on Nov. 3, 1 a.m. on Nov. 4 and 8 p.m. on Nov. 5.

Shalonda Michelle, Rohn Muse, incumbent Ken Richardson and Valerie Tatum are running for Ward 2.

Their answers will air at 9 a.m. today, 4 a.m. Monday, 1 a.m. Tuesday, 8 p.m. Wednesday, 5 p.m. Thursday, 1 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. on Nov. 3, 4 a.m. on Nov. 4 and 1 a.m. on Nov. 5.

Sandy Becker, Vicki Hatter, Russ Racop and Doris Wright are running for Ward 6.

Their answers will air at 1 p.m. today, 9 a.m. Monday, 4 a.m. Tuesday, 1 a.m. Wednesday, 8 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. Friday, 1 p.m. on Nov. 3, 9 a.m. on Nov. 4 and 4 a.m. on Nov. 5.

Edmond Davis, Robert Williams and incumbent B.J. Wyrick are running for Ward 7.

Their answers will air at 5 p.m. today, 1 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. Tuesday, 4 a.m. Wednesday, 1 a.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 5 p.m. on Nov. 3, 1 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 5.

A runoff for Little Rock District criminal judge will also take place Nov. 6. Candidates Margaret “Peggy” Egan and Melanie Martin shared their platforms at the forum. Those are set to air at 1 a.m. today, 8 p.m. Monday, 5 p.m. Tuesday, 1 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. Thursday, 4 a.m. Friday, 1 a.m. on Nov. 3, 8 p.m. on Nov. 4 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 5.

Lamor Williams, a spokesman for the city, said some of the forum segments will be delayed due to technical difficulti­es.
