Pet of the week
Canine Close-Up
Doll Baby is 8 months old and was rescued, along with her siblings, from a less-than-desirable situation. She is very smart — already using the doggy door — housetrained and great with kids, and she loves all the attention she is getting. We are not sure of her breed, but she is a beautiful cream color and has a very good disposition.
Fancy is a senior Chihuahua/ Miniature Pinscher mix that was a throw-away pet, starved and nearly fur-less when her kind foster mom found her. Her fur has grown back all shiny with great nutrition and adequate shelter. Fancy loves to run in the yard, eat, play with toys, go for walks, and snuggle on the couch. She is also cat- and children-friendly.
Chance is a very sweet, 1-yearold shepherd mix that is very happy to finally be safe in a foster home. Now, he just needs a home where he can stay forever. Chance gets along with just about everything and everyone. He loves kids. Chance is up-to-date with his shots and has been neutered and microchipped. He weighs 43 lbs. — the perfect size.
Dimer is a gorgeous, tall, lanky horse of a pup weighing about 70 lbs. He is almost 2 years old. Dimer’s mom is a small German shepherd mix and his dad is a large Rottweiler mix; however, he enjoys talking like a hound while he plays. Dimer is shiny and black with a little lightning bolt of white on his chest.
Conway and friends can be adopted through Out of the Woods Animal Rescue. More information is available at (501) 503-0606 and ootwrescue.org/adoption.html.
