BATESVILLE — Gary Paxson, Successor CEO of White River Health System, recently announced the addition of two hospitalists to the medical staff at WRMC: Dr. Jerrod Anderson and Dr. Caleb Oster. Hospitalists are the primary physician for family members to contact for updates on a loved one during a hospital stay.

Hospitalists organize the communication between different physicians caring for a patient and serve as the point of contact for other physicians, nurses and other caregivers for questions, updates and developing a comprehensive plan of care.

Anderson received his medical degree from Windsor University School of Medicine in St. Kitts. He completed a family-medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northeast/St. Bernard’s Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro.
