HEBER SPRINGS — Lindsey Reynolds has been hired as the new campus relations coordinator for the Arkansas State University Beebe Heber Springs campus. Reynolds comes to ASU-Beebe from the Concord School District, where she was an administrator at Concord Elementary School. Reynolds’ responsibilities will include assisting in the coordination and promotion of noncredit workforce and community-education classes, as well as planning and organizing community and fundraising events at the ASU-Beebe Heber Springs campus. Additionally, she will serve as an external contact for the community and alumni.
Reynolds holds an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville, a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Lyon College in Batesville, a Master of Education degree in middle-childhood education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership degree from Arkansas State University. Reynolds is a member of the Arkansas Science Teachers Association, the National Science Teachers Association, the Arkansas Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
“We wanted someone who could bridge the gap of communication between the community and ASUB Heber Springs,” said Ali Sugg, owner and general manager of 101.9 The Lake in Heber Springs and a member of the ASUB Heber Springs Development Council. “Lindsey’s experience working with area schools and her ambitious personality were exactly what we were looking for in this position. She will do a great job representing the Heber Springs campus and will be an asset to our community to help meet the needs of the local residents and businesses.”
